Taming Core Data

Over here at Macoscope, we’re ardent believers in giving back to the software development community: we’ve organized developer meet-ups at our offices, shared our repositories, and spoke at a number of events.

A couple of weeks ago, Arkadiusz Holko, one of our iOS developers, had a chance to share his knowledge at a local meet-up.

Core Data is a built-in framework for managing the model layer in apps running on Apple’s operating systems. It’s really powerful and some say that it may even be a tad too powerful. Check out the video to learn how to leverage the good parts of Core Data and at the same time reduce the chances of encountering issues caused by its unfriendly internal implementation.
